Swoogo JavaScript snippets

Small scripts that extend a Swoogo site beyond the page builder: checks, calculators, embeds and tracking.

What you get

What is included.

This is for event teams who hit a limit in the page builder. A check on the form, a total that needs to show differently, a report to embed, or a bug that only appears once registrants start clicking around.

We write the script and build it directly within Swoogo’s native Twig templating.

  • Checks that run as a form loads, such as a membership lookup
  • Calculators and breakdowns, like a line-by-line group discount
  • Embeds of outside reports or partner content, so attendees stay on your site
  • Analytics and tag setup, including a full Google Tag Manager container
  • Small fixes for modals, scrollbars and display problems
  • Live features, such as a live connection on one microsite

What we did before

Case studies from real projects.

For a Swoogo partner agency, we set up a full Google Tag Manager container with custom dataLayer logic for an event company’s registration pages. We built a membership check on a registration form, a group-registration discount breakdown, a personal meetings view that filters an agenda down to one registrant’s bookings, and a live connection on one microsite. We embedded a partner’s report inside an event site and fixed small bugs on live microsites. The largest piece was a self-service registrant dashboard for a university group, built as one Swoogo theme page.

Keeping an Attendee on the Event Site to Read a Partner's Report

The Two Bugs That Only Showed Up Once Registrants Started Clicking Around

A modal that wouldn't render right and a scrollbar that behaved inconsistently — two small fixes delivered together on one client's Swoogo microsite.

How it works

Four steps, in plain terms.

  1. 01

    You describe the problem

What should happen on the page, with a screenshot if you have one.

  2. 02

    We say what is possible

You hear honestly how we would do it inside Swoogo.

  3. 03

You invite us as a user

We build and test on your event.

  4. 04

You check, we adjust, we hand over

With a short note on what changed and where it lives.

FAQ

Common questions.

Can you add Google Tag Manager to a Swoogo site?

Yes. We have set up a full container with custom dataLayer logic, so real conversion events from the registration pages flow through to your analytics.

Can a script talk to another system?

Often, yes. If the other system has an API, a script can check it, for example a membership status, before the form applies a rate.

Do you need access to my Swoogo account?

Usually yes, a user with the right permissions. Please invite us as a user instead of sharing your own password.

Can you do a very small fix?

Yes. A single script, a modal or a scrollbar fix is a normal job for us.

Ready to start?

Order on the platform you already use, or write to us first. Tell us what you need and we will say what is realistic.
