Keeping an Attendee on the Event Site to Read a Partner's Report

Pulling a partner organization's report into a Swoogo event microsite as a live embed, instead of sending attendees offsite to read it.

The problem

A partner organization published a report the client wanted attendees to see. The easiest option was a link out to wherever that report lived, but that meant sending someone away from the registration and event site entirely, with no guarantee they’d come back.

The approach / solution

The embed lives on the Swoogo side, in the platform’s own templating layer. It fetches the report’s HTML through an API call and renders it inline, in an iframe on the event microsite itself.

Outcome / result

The report shows up on the client’s own event page. Attendees read it without leaving the site.

Why it matters for enterprise event-tech

Not every ask on an event site is a big integration. Sometimes it’s a small piece of content that needs to live where the attendee already is instead of somewhere else, and building it that way is still worth doing properly.
