This is for teams moving to Swoogo from Cvent, Eventbrite or another platform. Copying sessions, speakers and attendees by hand takes days, and mistakes are easy to miss.
We move the data with a script, through the APIs on both sides, and check the result before anything goes live. Salim has built on Swoogo almost every day for several years, including its API and webhooks.

What we did before
No public sample yet.
Our past migration work was a one-time move of an event’s data from another platform into Swoogo. It was private client work, so there is no public case study yet. Related public work is on the Swoogo integration pages, such as the bulk photo upload and the sync pipelines.

We agree how each field in the old platform maps to Swoogo, in a simple sheet you can read.

Test with one event
We move one event first, and you check it in Swoogo.

Move the rest
When you are happy, we run the script for everything else and send a report.
FAQ
Common questions.
Which platforms can you move from?
Any platform with an API or a proper data export. Cvent and Eventbrite are the most common. Send us the name and we will check what its API allows.
Will attendees get emails during the move?
Not if we do not want them to. We turn off or avoid triggers that send emails during the import, and we check this on the test event first.
What does not move automatically?
Usually website design, custom page layouts and some platform-specific settings, because each platform builds them differently. We tell you up front what needs to be rebuilt, and we can rebuild it in Swoogo too.
Is our attendee data safe?
Yes. We only use it for the move, work through your own accounts, and do not keep copies after the job is done.
