Move your events out of Swoogo

Export events, sessions, speakers and attendees from Swoogo into another platform or database.

What you get

What is included.

This is for teams leaving Swoogo, or keeping a copy of their event data in their own database. Doing it by hand takes days, and mistakes are easy to miss.

We export the data with a script, through the Swoogo API, map it to its new home and check the result before anything is switched.

  • Events with their details, dates, venues and settings
  • Sessions and agendas, including tracks and times
  • Speakers and sponsors, with bios and images
  • Attendees and registrations, with their answers and ticket types
  • Custom fields, mapped to the new platform or database
  • A report of what moved, with counts per event

What we did before

No public sample yet.

There is no public case study for a move out of Swoogo yet. Our migration work so far was a one-time move into Swoogo, and we know Swoogo’s API and where its data lives from several years of daily work. We say plainly that this page has no public sample.

How it works

Four steps, in plain terms.

  1. 01

    Look first

You tell us where the data should go. We check what both sides allow and say what will move cleanly and what needs a decision.

  2. 02

    Map the fields

We agree how each Swoogo field maps to the new place, in a simple sheet you can read.

  3. 03

    Test with one event

We move one event first, and you check it.

  4. 04

    Move the rest

When you are happy, we run the script for everything else and send a report.

FAQ

Common questions.

Where can the data go?

To any platform with an API or an import, or into a database you own. Send us the name and we will check what it allows.

Will attendees get emails during the move?

Not if we do not want them to. We avoid triggers that send emails during the import, and we check this on the test event first.

What does not move automatically?

Usually website design, custom page layouts and some platform-specific settings, because each platform builds them differently. We tell you up front what needs to be rebuilt.

Is our attendee data safe?

Yes. We only use it for the move, work through your own accounts, and do not keep copies after the job is done.

Ready to start?

Order on the platform you already use, or write to us first. Tell us what you need and we will say what is realistic.
