The problem
An assistant books the flight, confirms the hotel, and RSVPs to the summit. The executive rarely opens the invite email themselves. Handing over an executive’s own Swoogo login just so an assistant can manage that logistics creates a shared password nobody’s comfortable with, and no clean record of who actually made a change.
The approach / solution
Built a mapping between each executive’s Swoogo registration record and their assistant’s own account. The assistant logs in with their own credentials, sees the executive they support, and can view or update that executive’s registration and RSVP status from there.
Outcome / result
This delegation pattern runs in production on the client’s Swoogo account today. Assistants manage the logistics they were already handling anyway, through their own account, against the executive’s actual registration record.
Why it matters for enterprise event-tech
Executive assistants are the ones actually running event logistics at this level. A platform that only recognizes the invitee’s own login misses how these programs work day to day. Delegated access matters here just as much as CRM sync or payments do for a general-admission event.
