Picking a Booth Should Be a Click, Not an Email Chain

Exhibitors pick their booth by clicking a live floor plan on the registration form itself, built directly inside Swoogo for a trade-show and logistics client.

The problem

Exhibitors at this association’s trade shows needed a booth. Describing “the corner spot near the east entrance” over email to get it confirmed is slow, and it leaves the actual assignment sitting in someone’s inbox instead of on the registration record where it belongs.

The approach / solution

Built an interactive booth-map widget on the registration form itself. A live floor plan of the show renders right on the page; an exhibitor clicks the booth they want, and that choice writes directly into a field on their Swoogo registration. No separate map file, no follow-up email to confirm what was picked.

Outcome / result

Exhibitors now register and pick their exact booth in the same visit. The booth number lands in Swoogo alongside the rest of their registration data automatically, already tied to the right record.

Why it matters for enterprise event-tech

Booth assignment is one of the first things a trade-show organizer gets asked about, and normally it’s a spreadsheet somebody reconciles by hand after the fact. Turning it into a visual, one-click step during registration removes that reconciliation work entirely.
