The problem
A raw list of target companies and job titles isn’t a prospect list. Someone still has to find out who actually holds those titles at those companies, pull their contact details, and get all of it into a format a sales or outreach tool can use. Doing that by hand, company by company, doesn’t scale past a handful of names.
The approach / solution
Built a Node.js pipeline against Wiza’s prospect-search API, running in three modes depending on what the job needs:
- A match-count check, returning how many prospects exist for a given company and title before committing to a full pull.
- A full profile export — name, title, company, LinkedIn URL — written straight to CSV.
- A persistent enrichment-list job for larger runs, up to 2,000 profiles, with polling built in since a batch that size takes real time to finish on Wiza’s end.
Outcome / result
A company list goes in; a CSV of named, titled contacts with LinkedIn URLs comes out, ready to import into an outreach tool or CRM. No manual research pass in between.
Why it matters for enterprise event-tech
Sales and marketing teams working event-adjacent outreach need prospect data fast, not weeks into a research cycle. A pipeline that turns a target list into contact-ready output in one run is the difference between chasing leads this quarter and still building the list next quarter.
