SaaS app
A multi-user product with accounts, roles and per-customer data.
What you get
What is included.
This is for founders building a product that many customers will log into, each with their own data. It also suits teams that already have a SaaS product and need a developer who has worked on one for years.
We build the accounts, roles, database and admin tools, and we are careful about how customer data is kept apart, because that decision is hard to change later.
- Accounts, teams and user roles
- Per-customer data kept apart, in a way that fits your product
- A backend, database and API built for more than one customer
- Admin tools so your team can manage customers and support them
- Payments and email where the product needs them
- Deployment and a handover note, with the code in your own repo
What we did before
Case studies from real projects.
For a Swoogo partner agency, we built a second multi-tenant platform for university groups, with a separate PostgreSQL database for each client account. It was a deliberate choice over a shared schema, and it also pushes registrations out to another platform through webhooks. We also spent years on a collaborative publishing product, working across its marketing site, editor and dashboard.

Scaling a Collaborative Print-Publishing Platform Over Years
Sustained multi-year product engineering on a collaborative platform where 1M+ users co-design and order printed magazines, books, and posters — marketing site, editor app, and dashboard.

A Second Swoogo Multi-Tenant Platform, Built on Database-Per-Tenant Isolation by Design
A second Swoogo multi-tenant platform for institutional clients, built on database-per-tenant isolation instead of a shared schema — a deliberate architectural choice.

How it works
Four steps, in plain terms.
01
You describe the product
Who the customers are, what they do in the app, and what must be kept apart between them.
02
We choose how to separate customer data
A shared database with strict rules, or a separate database for each customer. We explain the trade-off and agree one.
03
We build the core first
Accounts, roles and the main feature come first, so you can try the product early.
04
Test, deploy, hand over
We test with more than one test customer, deploy, and write down how it runs.
FAQ
Common questions.
Can you take over a SaaS app someone else started?
Yes, including one built with an AI tool. We read through it first and tell you honestly what to keep and what to rebuild.
How do you keep one customer's data away from another's?
It depends on the product. Some need one database with strict access rules, others need a separate database for each customer. We explain the options and agree one before building.
Can we work together after launch?
Yes. Many SaaS clients move to a monthly arrangement, so the same developer keeps improving the product.
Who owns the code?
You do. Work happens in a repo on your account.
